OVERVIEW

Welcome to A TABLE STORY. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to A TABLE STORY, which operates this online shop at atablestory.store, including all related information, content, features, products and services (the "Services"). The shop is powered by Shopify.

These Terms of Service ("Terms"), together with the policies referred to here, set out your rights and responsibilities when using the Services. By visiting or buying from our shop, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the Services.

SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you are of legal age in your country of residence. To make a purchase, you may be asked for your email address and billing, payment and shipping details. You confirm that this information is accurate, current and complete. You are responsible for keeping your account and credentials secure.

SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS

We try to show our products as accurately as possible. Colours may, however, vary slightly depending on your screen. As these are embroidered textiles produced in small quantities, there may be slight variations between pieces, which are part of their character and are not defects.

We reserve the right to change descriptions, discontinue products or limit quantities at any time.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy, which is only accepted once we have confirmed it and received payment. We may refuse or cancel an order (for example, because of a pricing error or unavailability), in which case we will let you know using the contact details provided and refund any amount paid.

Personalised items (monograms, names, dates or colours of your choice) are made to order, with a production time of about 2 weeks, and cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal, except in the case of a defect or an error on our part. Some products have a minimum order quantity, shown on the product page.

Returns and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy.

SECTION 4 – PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are shown in euros and include VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping costs are shown before you complete your purchase. For shipments outside the European Union, customs or import duties may apply and are payable by the customer.

Prices and promotions may change without notice; the price in force at the time of your order always applies. You agree to provide genuine payment details and to be authorised to use the chosen payment method.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Delivery times are estimates and are added to the production time of made-to-order items. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs or circumstances beyond our control. Details are set out in our Shipping Policy.

SECTION 6 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content in the shop – brand, logo, product names, texts, photographs, embroidery designs and design – is the property of A TABLE STORY or its licensors and is protected by the applicable intellectual property laws. It may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission.

SECTION 7 – THIRD-PARTY TOOLS AND LINKS

The shop may include third-party tools or links (for example, payment methods, reviews or social media). We do not control these services, and their use is governed by the terms of their providers.

SECTION 8 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

The shop is powered by Shopify. However, all sales are made directly with A TABLE STORY. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of the sales between you and A TABLE STORY.

SECTION 9 – PRIVACY

Personal data collected through the shop is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As the shop is hosted on Shopify, some data is also processed by Shopify, in accordance with Shopify’s Privacy Policy.

SECTION 10 – REVIEWS AND COMMENTS

By posting reviews, photos or comments, you authorise A TABLE STORY to use them, free of charge, to promote the brand. Content must not be unlawful, offensive or infringe the rights of others. We may remove content that does not comply with these rules.

SECTION 11 – ERRORS AND OMISSIONS

If there is an obvious error in the price, description or availability of a product, we reserve the right to correct it and, if necessary, cancel the order, refunding any amount paid in full.

SECTION 12 – PROHIBITED USES

You may not use the shop for unlawful purposes, transmit viruses or malicious code, collect third-party data, send spam, or use robots or automated means to access or copy the content.

SECTION 13 – LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, A TABLE STORY is not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the shop. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights that the law grants to consumers, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity of goods.

SECTION 14 – GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Without prejudice to any rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence, the courts of the district of Braga have jurisdiction.

In the event of a dispute, consumers may use an Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution Entity: CIAB – Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Consumo (Consumer Arbitration Court), www.ciab.pt. More information at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
